Like the Signia Silk Nx, Eargo’s products are ready-to-wear hearing assistance. They use a soft, spoked shape called “Flexi Fibers” to suspend the device in the ear, allowing for the perception of sound both around and through the hearing aid.
Eargo Plus’s design allows bass tones to be heard naturally while adding assistance for higher frequency sounds. While this limits the capacity for Eargo to help people with low-frequency hearing loss, it can offer a flexible new solution for people who have mild-to moderate hearing issues, and difficulty with high-frequency tones.
Eargo Plus is small enough to be entirely concealed in the canal, offering users a discreet hearing solution. Additionally, Eargo Plus and Eargo Max are rechargeable, eliminating the need for changing tiny replacement batteries while delivering full day performance. While Eargo may limited in the range of what kind of hearing assistance it offers, it incorporates many helpful features and innovative design.
