Signia Xperience is a new platform with the world’s first combination of sophisticated acoustic sensors and a built-in motion sensor. This provides a full review of the sound landscape of the wearer, enabling automatic analysis of sounds in front and around the wearer.
Signia Xperience Hearing Apps will recognize more environmental factors than ever before and help you know what is relevant at all times with their new YourSound technology.
These also include an integrated motion sensor to understand how movement in each situation affects the wearer’s hearing.
Advanced new technology also prevents the hearing aids from negotiating whether they focus directly on the wearer or the environment as a whole. It helps the wearer to benefit from the sound in front of them, but also to hear key sounds from other places, such as when running with friends in the park or walking on a busy street.
YourSound technology provides three key benefits:
- A complete analysis of the complex soundscape of each wearer
- The ability to pick up and analyze sounds from in any direction, even when shifting for natural sound and voice
- An improved own voice using Own Voice Processing (OVP)
The cutting-edge Signia Xperience chip powers YourSound technology. This features 80 percent more transistors and seven times the previous Signia Nx chip capacity. This makes the Signia Xperience models simultaneously smaller and more powerful than their predecessors.
The Pure 312 X is the standard model, a Bluetooth®-connected Receiver-Canal hearing aid. The Pure Charge&Go X concept blends the advantages of the Signia Xperience platform with the benefits of lithium-ion rechargeable technology.
Pure Charge&Go Nx
When it comes to hearing aid batteries, no one wants to fiddle with tiny battery doors or remember to carry spare batteries. With Signia’s new Pure Charge&Go Nx, you’ll never have to worry about running out of power. Featuring a high-capacity Li-Ion power cell, this battery provides a full day of power, including hours of streaming audio or phone calls using Bluetooth Technology. Just place the hearing aids on the charger overnight, and wake up to a full day of effortless hearing. You’ll also experience the sound of your own voice in the most natural way, with the OVP (Own Voice Processing) feature. Your devices will process the sound of your own voice completely independently of all other voices and sounds, and it won’t be over amplified or sound unnatural.
Many people with hearing loss know how distracting background noise can be. Trying to hear announcements at a busy train station or have a discussion at a party can leave you straining to hear. Primax’s Speechmaster technology changes that, by identifying the dominant speech source and directing amplification towards it. Background noise is reduced a minimum, resulting in clearer conversations and unparalleled sound quality throughout your day. As Speechmaster’s algorithms are attuned to speech in every environment, you can comfortably enjoy a quiet moment or negotiate noisy situations with natural ease.
Speechmaster has been clinically proven to reduce listening effort throughout the day. Studies conducted at the University of Northern Colorado in 2015 monitored the EEG brain activity of primax users while they performed speech testing. Results revealed a significant reduction in listening fatigue, meaning users could concentrate and perform tasks for longer.
Standard hearing aids may provide good speech intelligibility, but often lack the precision to fully enjoy music. Primax’s HD (High Definition) Music program extends the hearing aid bandwidth to 12kHz, providing a fuller, richer listening experience. The program offers three settings, each tailored to different situations.
- Live Music provides an enhanced dynamic range, allowing concert-goers to enjoy everything from the higher volumes of rock shows and classical concerts, to quiet recitals and solo performances.
- Recorded Music offers tailored frequency response and amplification to deliver excellent sound quality when listening to music at home.
- Musician caters to the many singers and musicians who suffer from hearing loss, and provides a full depth of sound when practicing or performing.
CROS and BiCROS
For those with single-sided hearing impairments, primax’s CROS and BiCROS technologies enable the wearer to experience sounds binaurally. A CROS Pure transmitter worn behind the unaided ear sends wireless audio signals to the primax hearing aid on the other side. The features are based on e2e wireless™ 3.0, the most energy-efficient binaural audio transmission technology in the industry.
By focusing on creating a natural binaural environment specific to a user’s needs, primax offers a customer-centered hearing solution and an effortless listening experience. The hearing aid platform is available in four different sophisticated models: Pure primax, Signia motion SX and SA primax, Signia Insio primax and Signia Ace primax. For more information, visit the Signia website.
Large indoor spaces, such as museums, lecture halls, foyers and places of worship are often frustrating for the hearing impaired. Sound bounces off the walls and arrives at the ear at different intervals, making speech difficult and tiring to understand. EchoShield analyzes both direct and indirect sounds, softening the reverberations while directing dominant speech, for a comfortable and effortless listening experience.
This feature is designed for cellphone users who prefer to hold the phone to their ear, rather than use a hands-free option. When the telephone receiver is placed to the ear, the call is automatically transmitted from one hearing aid to the other for a more convenient conversation. TwinPhone can be used with all phones.
For those who prefer a wireless and hands-free telephone conversation, primax is compatible with easyTek (Siemens), an additional device that connects Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones to the hearing aid. easyTek can also sync audio from any Bluetooth device, including TVs and MP3 players, turning the hearing aid into a high-quality stereo headset.easy

Outperforms normal hearing.
Binax is the first hearing aid to outperform normal hearing in challenging noise situations. The University of Northern Colorado and the Hearing Center of the University of Oldenburg conducted two independent studies on the Siemens binax hearing aid. Both studies found that binax wearers were able to hear more clearly and accurately than people with normal hearing in noisy environments, such as busy restaurants and bustling parties. Siemens developed e2e wireless technology, which simulates a binaural hearing experience for wearers. This technology utilizes the four microphones on each hearing aid to wirelessly connect and communicate with the one on the other ear, creating an eight-microphone network to share audio information, thereby forming a more comprehensive and natural experience of sound for wearers in their immediate environment. Additionally, binax hearing aids are equipped with a high definition sound resolution (HDSR) platform, to further enhance sounds for wearers.
In addition to the e2e network of microphones, primax is one of the most innovative and technologically advanced hearing aids available on the market. Equipped with wireless technology, primax hearing aids are compatible to be linked up with personal electronic devices, giving wearers better access to technology, media, and contacts. Utilizing the touchControl app, downloadable for smart phones, wearers are able to adjust program settings and volumes discreetly. The wireless remote and streamer also connects primax wearers to smartphones, via Bluetooth. Perhaps the most advanced of the apps available is the easyTek app, which allows primax wearers to hone in specific sounds, focus on speakers’ voices in conversations, and adjust the direction of the microphones for a better sense of one’s spatial surroundings. The easyTek also turns the wearer’s smart phone into a microphone, which has the capability to transmit amplified sound to the primax hearing aids.
The Siemens primax hearing aid also provides wearers with features that simulate binaural hearing. The Narrow Directionality feature allows the wear to focus on the speech source, regardless of the direction from which the sound comes (front, back, side, etc.) This feature also becomes useful for speech recognition in challenging noise situations. Speech recognition is a major element that requires focus with hearing loss; the primax offers the Spatial Speech feature, which filters out unnecessary noise in an environment, allowing wearers to focus on the people with whom they are conversing. Sounds are also preserved and filtered accordingly with the eWind Screen binaural feature, which strengthens audio
