Gelli Ortiz

Dr. Gelli Ortiz is a licensed audiologist originally from the Philippines and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She earned her Doctor of Audiology from the University of Pittsburgh and completed her Fourth-Year Externship at Weill Cornell Medicine, where she gained extensive experience with pediatric and adult patients, diagnostic testing, hearing aids, and hearing loss management.

Before pursuing her doctorate, Dr. Ortiz earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Washington. She also has experience providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Dr. Ortiz is licensed in the state of Nevada, certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A).

Dr. Ortiz is passionate about patient-centered care and enjoys connecting with patients, learning their stories, and helping them find solutions that improve their communication and quality of life. She brings empathy, flexibility, and enthusiasm to every clinical encounter and is committed to helping people hear and communicate better. Outside of work, she enjoys starting her mornings at the gym, spending time with loved ones, and traveling. Her favorite sports teams are the Golden Knights and Pittsburgh Steelers!
