Many hearing aids treat background sound as a problem to eliminate, which can make speech easier to follow but leaves wearers feeling cut off from what's happening around them. The Oticon Reveal takes a different approach, using a dual-AI system to find an individualized balance between speech clarity and environmental awareness, something Oticon refers to as your "balance point."

Two separate AI processes work together in real time: Speech AI analyzes and enhances speech, while Context AI preserves the meaningful sounds of your surroundings. This is Oticon's third generation of AI-based hearing technology, following Oticon More and Oticon Intent, and it's available as a rechargeable receiver-in-canal device at our Las Vegas and Henderson offices.

• Reveal Optimizer: An updated feedback prevention system designed to reduce whistling while allowing more prescribed amplification, particularly useful for open and vented fittings.
  
• Bluetooth LE Audio Connectivity: Streams audio from iPhone and Android devices with Google Fast Pair for quick setup, plus Auracast™ compatibility for connecting to audio systems in public venues.
  
• Streaming Comfort: Automatically reduces surrounding environmental sound while audio is streaming, with the amount of reduction adjustable through the mobile app or by your provider.
  
• Rechargeable with Desktop and Travel Chargers: Available with both a desktop charger for overnight use and a portable travel charger for keeping the hearing aids powered while away from home.
  

Understanding Oticon's Approach to Sound Processing

The distinction between the Reveal and many competing hearing aids comes down to processing philosophy. Rather than suppressing as much background sound as possible, Oticon's approach preserves access to the broader sound environment so the brain has the information it needs to orient itself, follow a conversation, and notice what's happening nearby. The Reveal AI Clarifier is where this work happens, handling both speech enhancement and environmental sound preservation together rather than treating them as competing goals.

In practical terms, this means the Reveal tends to suit patients who value natural, open sound quality and want to stay aware of their surroundings, especially those being fit with open or vented earpieces. Patients whose primary goal is the strongest possible reduction of background noise may prefer a device with a more aggressive processing strategy, and we carry options that take that approach as well. A new Oticon CROS transmitter is also available with the Reveal platform for patients with single-sided deafness, using the same chargers as the hearing aids themselves.
