Hearing aids designed for discretion have traditionally come with limitations: smaller batteries, fewer features, no wireless connectivity, and no rechargeability. The Oticon Zeal changes that. It's a nearly invisible, in-the-ear hearing aid that delivers the same AI-driven sound processing found in Oticon's premium receiver-in-canal devices, packaged into a form factor that sits deep in the ear canal where most people won't notice it.

What makes it technically different from older completely-in-canal designs is Oticon's encapsulation process, which seals all electronics inside hardened protective resin rather than a hollow shell. This allows for a larger rechargeable battery, better durability, and consistent component placement across every device made. The Zeal is powered by Oticon's Sirius platform, the same chipset used in the Oticon Intent, and is available at our Las Vegas and Henderson offices.

• Bluetooth LE Audio Connectivity — Streams audio from smartphones (iOS and Android), TVs, tablets, PCs, and Apple Watch®, with Auracast™ compatibility for connecting to compatible audio systems in public venues.
• Same-Day Fitting Option — The Zeal can be fit using domes at the initial appointment, with custom micro-molds available for patients who need or prefer them.
• Encapsulation Technology (IP68) — All internal components are sealed in solid protective resin, providing IP68-rated moisture and dust resistance and reducing mechanical stress from daily wear.

Who Is a Good Fit for the Oticon Zeal?

The Zeal is designed for adults with mild to moderately severe hearing loss who want a discreet solution without giving up modern features. With instant-fit domes, it fits comfortably in approximately two out of three ears, with custom micro-molds extending the fitting range into moderately severe loss. It's a particularly practical choice for working-age adults, first-time users who have been hesitant about visibility, and anyone who has tried a small in-canal device in the past and found it lacking in features.

Patients with severe to profound hearing loss, or those whose ear canal anatomy doesn't accommodate the device comfortably, may be better served by a receiver-in-canal or behind-the-ear model.
