Laurie Turner

Dr. Laurie Turner is originally from Denver, CO. She graduated from Colorado State University with both her bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. She moved to Las Vegas in 1989 to complete her clinical fellowship year and has never left! In 2009, she completed her Doctor of Audiology degree through AZ School of Health Sciences which is a division of AT Still University. She brings 35 years of experience to the team at Desert Valley Audiology.

Dr. Turner has worked extensively with various ENT practices in Las Vegas. More recently she worked as the Director of Audiology at a local Audiology practice in Henderson, NV. She works with both pediatric and adult patients and loves helping people reconnect with their loved ones through conversation. The first step to better communication is being able to hear! Dr. Turner also has extensive knowledge and experience with cochlear implants and has been helping individuals with implantable technology for 20 years.

Dr. Turner has three adult children as well as two stepdaughters and three dogs. But the loves of her life are her three granddaughters. Being raised in Colorado, she loves the outdoors including camping, fishing, mountain biking, hiking, and riding off road. When she isn’t in Las Vegas she is with her husband and family enjoying the outdoors of Utah.
