Stefanie Howard

Stefanie Howard is originally from the east coast and graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from James Madison University. She then earned a Master’s degree in Education from Old Dominion University and worked as an early childhood educator for twelve years in various states and in the UK. In 2017, she decided to make a career change and completed her Masters of Occupational Therapy degree at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. She is certified through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and licensed in the State of Nevada. Since becoming an OT, Stefanie has worked in Neuro Rehab and Orthopedics and specializes in Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy (VRT). She is certified in Vestibular and Concussion Rehabilitation and Vestibular Rehabilitation II through the American Institute of Balance. 

Stefanie is passionate about working with patients with Vestibular Disorders and BPPV. Having experienced BPPV and Vestibular Dysfunction herself, she has personally gone through VRT to resolve her own symptoms and can relate to those experiencing dizziness, vertigo and migraines firsthand. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors in the sunshine, camping, snowboarding and spending time with her family and friends.
