Yvette Flores

Dr. Yvette Flores is originally from El Paso, Texas. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas. Before pursuing her doctorate in Audiology, Dr. Flores spent six years as an early childhood bilingual educator in Houston, Texas, where she taught kindergarten and pre-kindergarten.

Dr. Flores earned her Doctorate in Audiology from Pacific University in Oregon. During her doctoral studies, she completed clinical rotations at West Texas Rehabilitation in Abilene, Texas; Cook’s Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas; and PDX ENT & Audiology in Portland, Oregon. Yvette completed her clinical externship here, at Desert Valley Audiology, and now joins the team as a full-time clinical Audiologist.

Dr. Flores is licensed to practice in Nevada and offers comprehensive audiologic services to patients of all ages. She is also fluent in Spanish. Her diverse clinical experience and dedication to her field demonstrate her commitment to improving auditory health and communication. Dr. Flores enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, practicing yoga, hiking, and running. She moved from Texas to Nevada with her husband and their beloved dogs, Benji and Cash.

Her favorite sound is the calming rhythm of ocean waves, reflecting her appreciation for peaceful auditory experiences.
