Phonak Quest Hearing Aids

Phonak recently released a new line of hearing aids. Phonak Quest is a new platform of hearing aids that builds on the long established quality technology by Phonak. Quest has kept the features from the Spice platform (Autozoom, DuoPhone and Stereozoom) and added to them. The added technologies include Auto Stereozoom and Speech in Wind. Auto Stereozoom provides optimal hearing in background noise. Most hearing aids with directional microphones have the ability to focus the microphones directly to the front. Phonak Quest hearing aids with directional microphones can direct the microphones to be more focused on what the wearer is looking at. Spice platform hearing aids had this ability however it required the user to select the program. Quest platform does it automatically. In addition to Auto Stereozoom, Speech in Wind allows for optimal hearing in the presence of wind. When the hearing aid detects wind noise the digital hearing aid circuit uses both hearing aids in conjunction to reduce wind noise and amplify speech. Both of these features have added to the hearing success of my patients. Quest platform hearing aids are available in both behind the ear hearing aids (Bolero) and in the ear hearing aids (Virto).
